Martinis, Motives, and Murder. Mansfield Mysteries is a satirical, cozy murder whodunit, featuring the inquisitive, martini-loving socialite Dorinda Mansfield. Set in quiet, affluent Berkshire Bay, each three-chapter story finds Dorinda wrapped up in a new murder. With the help of her devoted daughter, Stacey—as well as the occasional frenemy—Dorinda digs for clues, navigates Berkshire Bay’s elite social circles, and sifts through years’ worth of grudges and motives. “Art of Murder” finds Dorinda and Stacey Mansfield attending Berkshire Bay Art Museum’s annual Easter gala, which features a mystery tableau staged by guest artist, Shapshaw. When a body is found lifeless moments before the reveal, however, it falls on Dorinda to draw out the suspects. Rival international artists, the museum’s curator, and Shapshaw’s own disgruntled assistant are all portraits of possible killers, but it’s not until the tableau is displayed that Dorinda can decipher who’s the murderous maestro, and who’s been framed.

“Fortune Says: Murder” features Madame Anoushka, a famous psychic who’s been hired to predict the futures of Berkshire Bay’s elite, including Dorinda Mansfield. Due to a strange twist of fate, the readings are interrupted by a freak electrical outage that leaves a member of the party dead. Madame’s surly mother and brawny sister both had beef with the deceased, but so did the town’s top hairdresser and Rosemary Berkshire’s former chef. It’ll take Dorinda and Stacey more than a Magic Eight Ball to foresee this clairvoyant’s killer.

“Bon Voyage, Murder”, our Season Finale, occurs on a luxury yacht off the shores of Panama, chartered by none other than Rosemary Berkshire, who is throwing a party for Berkshire Bay’s renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Margosian. However, when word of a financial debacle spreads among the guests, the deal’s broker ends up floating in the ocean. Was he pushed, or did he slip? Dorinda joins forces with Rosemary’s head of security, Morton Anderlee, to fish out the killer. This unlikely pair makes waves with all aboard, including the deceased’s wife, the cagey captain, and the reputable doctor himself. Can they catch their prey, or will they fall prey to the white whale of Berkshire Bay?
